The Porsche Classic 911 G Tool Roll (1974–1982).

Porsche Classic has redesigned this tool roll, producing a new edition with a spectacular look in the style of the late 1970s. Whereas the original featured only artificial leather, the new tool roll is made of real black leather and red tartan fabric. The design of the fabric is based on a typical seat cover from this era. Following on from the development of a tool roll for the 911 F model, the range now includes a tool roll for the subsequent 911 models. These vehicles boast special features, such as the towing lug, which comes complete with brief instructions and is designed as a bayonet hook allowing it to attach to the original trailer, which was fitted with a simplex hook. All tools have specified slots in this new roll as well. The screwdriver handles are made of yellow plastic just as before, but now also feature Porsche lettering. To make handling easier, Porsche Classic has replaced the original spark plug tool with a ratchet that features a special spark plug socket wrench and is much more practical to operate.

The Porsche Classic 911 G Tool Roll (1983–1989).

The design of the tool roll for the late G models impresses with its sophisticated combination of leather and black-and-white pinstriped velour. All metal parts have been kept in matte black, making them reminiscent of the exterior decorative elements of the late 911 G models. In addition to the tools that can also be found in the 911 roll for model years 1974 to 1982, such as the electric test lamp and various safety fuses, there are also additional tools for emergency operation in the event of a faulty sliding roof motor or window regulator motor. The Porsche 914 was presented to the public in 1969. The Porsche Classic Tool roll for the mid-engine sports car is being released in 2019 to coincide with this anniversary. The exterior of the new tool roll has the Porsche Crest stamped on it, just like the 914/6 horn button, and is finished in an orange-colored tartan fabric. This look reflects the design of the 914 seat covers. The lettering at the rear of the vehicle is also included on the tool roll. The new Porsche Classic Battery Charger is available for any Porsche with a 6V or 12V-Battery, not just the Classic cars! This battery charger has two different modes available; a charging mode capable of recharging a battery, and a maintenance mode that ensures the battery is kept properly charged during extended periods of inactivity. The PCCM is available for all Classic models with DIN1 slot, from the 911 F to the 911 (Type 993), as well as for four and eight-cylinder vehicles, excluding the 356.

For this edition, the objective was to make further improvements and expand the device functionality which now includes Apple CarPlay.

The device fits seamlessly in the dashboard, with two different knob designs to suit vintage vehicle designs. The operating logic itself is based on the current Porsche Communication Management (PCM) and its user-friendliness is evident when using the 3.5-inch touchscreen.

The output of 4x45 watts delivers full sound however the original factory-fitted sound system with amplifier can also be installed directly or through an adapter lead - available for order separately. Note that the output of the originally installed amplifier may be lower than the navigation device. The unit is compatible with Sirius/XM and requires the optional Sirius/XM tuner and antenna kit to be purchased separately.
